Meet Tatu, a sweet-natured dog whose name means "three" in Swahili,, as he is the third dog to move to our farm. and to complete the team of our four legged security guards.
This humble and friendly creature arrived at our shelter after facing a challenging start to life. His previous owner, unfortunately, could not afford vital necessities, such as food and medical care. Among the most pressing concerns was Tatu’s mango worm infection, which had begun to affect his health, so his owner approached us and asked for help.

Now, Tatu is safe with us, and we are committed to ensuring that he receives the comprehensive medical treatment he needs to recover and thrive. His gentle demeanor has already earned him friends among our other rescues—most notably Tommy and Paper, with whom he has formed a special bond. Together, they bring life to our shelter, their playfulness a testament to resilience in the face of adversity.

Tatu’s journey is a poignant reminder of the responsibilities we hold as guardians of these beautiful creatures. We believe every animal deserves a second chance, and we are dedicated to making sure Tatu and his newfound companions experience the love and care they deserve. As he settles into his new surroundings, Tatu continues to showcase his kind spirit, quickly warming the hearts of our staff and volunteers. With each passing day, we see signs of his growing confidence and joy, and we cherish every moment spent with him. Our urgent focus now is to provide Tatu with the medical attention he didn't receive in the past, treating his condition so that he can lead a happier, healthier life.

We invite you to support Tatu’s journey by helping us with donations or volunteering at our shelter. Every contribution goes directly towards the care of our animals, ensuring that they receive food, medical treatment, and love. Together, we can make a difference in Tatu’s life and in the lives of many others who, like him, are looking for a safe haven and a loving home.
